that left you wondering what the artist was trying to tell you. I
call that the Huh? Factor. Avoiding the Huh? Factor is one of the
many writing tips in my workshop, ArtWrite:
Putting Your Art in Words. Other tips include the Hygiene
Bomb, Seduction, Kill Your Darlings and the Duh Factor along with
class exercises to help you find the right words for your art. I
have designed this workshop to help artists create a statement and
bio. We also cover the anatomy of a press release.
